As I write this in early December, the weather this week has been cold, cold, cold.  Even my poor Rugosa rose has given up any semblance of color.  I've been to the beach to watch the sun rise the past few mornings, and there are some beautiful holly trees on the way home.  Note to self: plant holly trees in the spring.
